I have been a resident of Bembridge since 1977, a village which I am extremely proud of and after retiring from Ryde School where I worked for over thirty years, I now have time to take part in village life.

I enjoy sailing and kayaking and have been a past Commodore of Brading Haven Yacht Club.  Therefore, the harbour and its future are extremely important to me.  I also have a keen interest in the youth of the village and am proud to be a Trustee of the BYCC, (Bembridge Youth and Community Centre) which is doing a fantastic job in catering for the needs of the young and indeed the general community of the village.  In addition to this, I have been involved with the Duke of Edinburgh Award for many years and enjoy assessing students on their Bronze and Silver Awards.
