I was born and bred in Guildford, Surrey.

At the age of 15 I joined the army where I remained for the next 25 years. My second career found me working in the House of Commons for a further 28 years! I feel very fortunate to have had two very rewarding careers.

I have strong family links to the island and Bembridge in particular, going back three generations. I have lived in the village for the past 20 years.

I want Bembridge to remain a great place to live for all of us and for generations to come.
