Marine Conservation Society Beach Survey

On Saturday 23rd September 2023 our Sustainability Working Group arranged for a group of local volunteers to take part in the Marine Conservation Society beach clean and survey.

Marine Conservation Society – ‘As well as cleaning up our coastline, Beachwatch volunteers note down all the items they find in a 100m stretch of beach. Every lolly stick, lost toy or piece of plastic – we record it. This data is hugely important as it helps us track litter back to source, and enables us to campaign for change’.

A huge thanks to everyone who came along on the day to lend a hand.
